Co-enzyme Q10 is naturally made in the body and found in the mitochondria in every cell. Most CoQ10 is found in the organs that have the highest energy requirements (eg. the heart, liver, kidneys and lungs). Less CoQ10 gets produced as we age. CoQ10 is lipophilic so it is blended with medium chain triglycerides (MCTs) from coconut oil to aid in the absorption of CoQ10.
